I’ve been spitting and typing out pretty good words for 7+ years across ad agencies and editorial. Mostly in English, sometimes in Arabic, all to craft memorable consumer experience across five GCC markets (and Egypt, for a time).
Essentially, I turn briefs into narratives and narratives into things people actually read. Then buy.
Through some vague process I have little memory of, I have a Pharmacy degree from the GUC that I’ve used for a grand total of 17 months. No regrets besides going for it in the first place.
Writing was always in me, and it eventually became the path forward. At least for as long as it pays me.
